Counseling Fees and Insurance - John Eckenwiler
My rates are currently $125.00 per hour as of 4/1/10. For your convenience, I accept cash, check, Visa and Master Card.
Your experience will usually be relatively brief in nature and time-limited (6-8 sessions is quite common), making it more effective and affordable at the same time. Some people prefer not use their medical insurance for this kind of service in order to maintain their privacy.
The fee for Marriage-180 is
$320 for 2 full hours
$480 for 3 full hoursThis hourly rate is actually less than it would be for a standard "clinical hour". 180 minutes (3 hours) equates to 4 traditional counseling hours since we will meet for the full 3 hours.
Marriage-180 (2 or 3-hour block) includes a copy of the book, Shatterproof Your Marriage by John Eckenwiler. Insurance plans that apply can be billed for a 1-hour session, then any remaining balance of this fee is due.
As of 1/1/10, the only "in-network" insurance plans currently accepted are:
Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield (all plans)
United Behavioral Health (all plans)
If you have other insurance that is a PPO, you almost certainly have out-of-network benefits that will reimburse you. Your insurance company can give you details about your out-of-network benefits.
